There is something very appealing and also romantic about flowers and it is a joy to see bunches of beautiful flowers being carried home or taken to someone special as a present. So on a recent visit to London UK, my daughter told me that she wanted to find the flower market near Brick Lane called Columbia Road. The market located in London’s East End was originally built on a watercress field over 150 years ago. This cobblestone street with small, pretty (and ritzy )old style shop fronts has the most beautiful flowers sold from east end barrow boys (and girls).
We were there in on a really hot Sunday 28 degrees and really really crowded, Kate was delighted to  get “two for a tenner” bunches of Peonies to take home. It has become a favourite place now for her to visit.
