When You Organize You Only Have Two Options. Really!

You can put it on display or store it away. Have good looking items out and the rest camouflage in baskets, boxes or behind closed doors. Really this is the secret to keeping your beloved stuff is to organize it so it does not look cluttered, think of a museum or an art gallery; everything on show is presented to perfection staged around lighting and space. The basement or storage facility is another matter, here a curator has categorized the pieces as inventory or for future exhibitions but the public does not see this area. So it goes with houses, guests are not shown what you do not want them to see, however when you sell your home everything is on show now, warts and all (think of all your neighbors at your open house) so you can do one of two things, organize it and if there is too much stuff have an estate sale or as a final resort use an external storage facility.
