Use What You Have – Making Garden Furniture & Storage

To make a garden table or shelves for displaying plants and for storing pots. Simply take four large terracotta pots of the same size and an old door or piece of wood and place across pots that are placed at each corner. Display plants artfully. You can make shelves easily using old bricks and planks. On a level area build up bricks and planks to desired height  and  use to store pots and watering cans etc. This can be rearranged easily and if desired taken down for winter. For a dining table use two saw horses or garbage containers of the same height, and filled with water for stability. Place door on top. Use a large sheet or curtain as a table cloth. Very shabby chic!
