I have been getting calls, “I have nothing to wear” or “I have been shopping” Can I show you what I have bought?” and the one that causes the most anxiety “What do I wear with it” The first, had purchased a beautiful little black dress, very formal, classic and would look perfect at a funeral, but it’s for a party! she wailed. Option one was to dress it up with jewelry and option two was to take it back. Julie kept the dress, she loved it, it fits me in all the right places! To make it work for her party we added black lacy hose, black patent high heels, a fun statement necklace, small gold earrings and some bracelets plus a new red lipstick for all out glamour. The same dress was paired with a jacket and large modern black and white pearls for a business lunch and then for a weekend brunch out with the family just add some more casual jewelry, boots and a cardigan. Added cost was for hose and a new red lipstick.

Looking through the closet, we switched out the LBD for the LWD – Little White Dress (from summer) and now it becomes Winter white with  a new necklace. Added cost was for a necklace on found on sale!

Last but not least, this lady had bought this dress on sale and never bothered to wear it, why buy another when this one looks great! add a statement piece, some sheer black hose and small pearl studs to look fabulous! Added cost was for sheer hose.
