  • Beets – As a side roasted
  • Cabbage & Carrots – Make coleslaw your winter salad
  • Garlic, Roasted – as a spread on toast, add to salad dressing and on top of a baked potato
  • Leeks – Wrapped in ham and baked with a cheese sauce
  • Onions – Add to soups and stir fry
  • Mushrooms – Add to an omelette for a quick meal
  • Parsnips – Baked or made into a soup with apple and Brie
  • Brussel Sprouts – Boiled or steamed like a mini cabbage
  • Squash – Make into a risotto or soup. Roast in oven with other vegetables
  • Sweet potatoes and potatoes served baked
