Window Project Update 1st Area completed

The front four windows are now finished. Each casement window has 12 new panes of  3mm glass and the mullion have all been stained a dark walnut colour and although you cannot see them in this photo, each pane has a stained poplar trim to hold the glass in place instead of putty which only comes in white and would have needed painting. Nutmeg coloured storms have been added to give extra insulation and these have built in screens as prior there were no screens on the original windows that were left in the house.
